PAFP subgroup was notified under FP2020 Working group, Sindh in 2020. Ipas is the focal organization for this group to provide technical guidance to the members of the subgroup on the PAFP agenda in Sindh.

Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination (MoNHSR&C) and Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) included Misoprostol in National Essential Medicines List (NEML) for PAC Indications.

Punjab Reproductive Health Technology Assessment Committee (PRHTAC) was constituted by the Directorate General Health Services, Punjab on 1st January, 2013 per the ToRs presented by Ipas. The aim of this committee is to support and guide Gov of Punjab in assessment and adoption of new and emerging technologies in reproductive health per the needs and context of province.

The service delivery guidelines in this document aim to set the standard care and provide guidance to healthcare workers on the provision of high-quality and comprehensive uterine evacuation care.
